Community Living ServicesSanta Maria El Mirador has specialized in community living services for over 30 years. Our program philosophy centers around the supports participants need to live happily and successfully in their communities. Many of our individuals live in homes owned by SMEM, homes that are owned by their family, or simply rent or lease homes directly with community homeowners. All homes and residences are located in communities that are integrated, next to neighbors that are non disabled. |

Our 24 hour support homes are located in Santa Fe, Rio Arriba and Taos counties in beautiful Northern New Mexico. We are proud of the fact that our homes are integrated and indistinguishable from any other homes in the community. Individuals can choose from a range of homes from modern residences in larger neighborhoods to small homes that are rural and compliment the relaxed and colorful environment of rural New Mexico. Our homes are designed and decorated according to the needs and preferences of the people we serve. |

Our Assisted and Independent Living program provides supports to individuals who live in their own homes and apartments and is designed to meet the needs of each individual. Some individuals are visited daily and others less often, as it all depends on the skills, abilities and desires of each. All the individuals in this program enter into personal rental agreements or leases with community homeowners. |
